Photo Friday: Upon the Plains of Desolation

This is perhaps my favorite location within Badlands National Park in South Dakota. When a good storm comes up within this National Park, I feel compelled to make the image in monochrome as the interesting structures combined with the darkened skies make way for a moody black and white. This image was a combination of two images stitched together and then converted. I was originally going to post the color version as well and I may someday, but I feel like this one should stand on its own for this Photo Friday.
