Today I am presenting the 600th photograph that has been added to my website at Journey of Light Photography. A couple of weeks ago as I was processing and adding images from my recent outings, I realized I was approaching this number. I’m not sure why I noticed this, I haven’t really made mention of any threshold previous to today, but it seems like a milestone of sorts so I felt compelled to mention it. Now, as for the image, I choose a composition I felt was simple, but elegent. This is a beautiful mum that I photographed at Arbor Day Lodge State Park in Nebraska City. I was drawn to the design and the vibrant colors and the contrasts between the warm hues and the green background. For me it is a reminder of the beauty of autumn.
