Photo Friday: Dawn Upon DeSoto

Before the DeSoto Art of the Wild Show kicked off last Saturday, I took the opportunity to drive up to the refuge early in the morning and capture sunrise. The still lake perfectly reflected the line of clouds illuminated by the light of the barely risen sun. With only a few pelicans as company, I enjoyed the serenity and solitude before greeting the guests at the show.
