Photo Friday: Patterns of Snowflakes

While most people are turning up the heat and staying indoors, I find that this is a great time of year for unique photography. While out trudging through the snow at Jack Sinn Wildlife Management Area, I found these patterns of flakes that had fallen on a snow drift. I turned to macro and focused on the patterns of the crystals to get this abstract composition.
