Photo Friday: Dawn Over the Missouri
Wanting to get one last fall trip in, I managed to get up to Ponca State Park in northeastern Nebraska this past weekend. The park was at the height of the beautiful warm fall colors. Besides taking out some time to take a hayrack ride through the park, I ventured to the less-visited northern addition of the park. On this crisp morning, I climbed down to the river bank and positioned myself facing westward so I could get the first of the morning light hitting the clouds, hills and river.
