A Slideshow of 62 Photos of 2013

January is always an retrospective time of year for me. So often I go through the year, saying, “What’s next, what’s next, what’s next” that I don’t take the time to go back and reflect. When January comes I am forced to take a look back at the previous year and work on many business related tasks – taxes, following up with past clients, finishing up some projects, updating the website, and keywording and sorting photographs. In doing so, I try to come up with a number of images that I created through the year that showed the end result of my goals – whether it be to photograph a place, try out a new technique, or just go out and shoot. This batch of photographs really shows what I did this year – 2 trips to Colorado, a journey around Northwestern Nebraska, a trip to Ponca State Park, traveling to see the Sandhill Crane migration, and a few excursions here and there to Schramm, Arbor Day Lodge, Squaw Creek, DeSoto, Mahoney, Platte River State Park, and a few other places here and there. All in all, when I finally looked back it was quite a busy year!
