Photo Friday: Spring Singing
I’ve recently returned from a trip around the panhandle of Nebraska logging over 1,600 miles. I witnessed some incredible storms in the Sandhills, spent a peaceful evening on a rocky outcropping at Ft. Robinson State Park, and I had a chance to photograph some burrowing owls again. I’m currently working on processing and culling the thousands of photographs and hope to have a few posts dedicated to the trip report. In the meantime, here is an image of a Western Meadowlark who was quite loud, incidentally, singing away on top of a fencepost near the southern entrance to Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
