Photo Friday: Black Canyon of the Gunnison at Dusk

I recently returned from a photography trip around Colorado. I’m working hard on cataloging and processing my images and I’ll be presenting trip reports as usual in the next week or so.

Today, though I wanted to share an image from the trip. This image was captured in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison about 30 minutes after sunset. The canyon wall reflected the nice cool blue tones as hints of warmth still cling to some of the clouds in the sky. The evening was calm at the canyon with very little wind and no one else around.
