Photo Friday: Bright Winterscape

This week I went with a couple of friends to the OPPD Arboretum in Omaha. I rarely visit the arboretum anymore, a place I once went quite often. I thought it the perfect place to capture a few images of the recent snow, I was not disappointed. The snow transformed the forest into a serene winterscape, a clean white carpet, untouched. We hiked around the park capturing the winter scenery, this image being one of my favorites from that day. While cold, it wasn’t cold enough to freeze the water and it still cut its path through the snow, a light tinkling sound filling the air on this quiet day.
